Ireland on a budget
River Liffey, Dublin |
I have wanted to go to Ireland ever since I saw P.S. I Love You; falling in love with the movie, Gerard Butler and of course Ireland! Though I had been planning the trip ever since I was about to go to the UK, it finally happened last October. I travelled solo and absolutely loved it! Even though I have been on day trips by myself before, this was my first solo trip-trip and it was to Ireland! :D It was an awesome experience where I met many other solo travellers from around the world and experienced living in hostels. In the four days that I was there, I visited - Dublin, Limerick - Cliffs of Moher - Doolin - Kinvara (day trip), Carrickfergus - Carrickarede - Bushmills - Giant's Causeway (day trip) and Belfast.

Picnicking
Now that the lovely English summer has become a thing of the past (as it is already getting cold now) I miss the warm sunny days already (it was just last week that I wore sun dresses to work!)
When the sun shines bright, you just want to be out there and make the most of it. Summers (especially English summers) bring out the fun loving picnic goer in most of us.
So here is what I did this summer.

Stuffed Mushroom with Cottage Cheese
Me and my sister totally loved this mushroom appetiser served at a particular restaurant in Mumbai. But sadly enough the restaurant discontinued serving it. I came across this recipe in a magazine and thought of trying it out. I was pleasantly surprise when it turned out to be pretty close and now every time I make it, I have something to make my sister jealous! :p
